What do you mean by wushu?
WUSHU is a traditional Chinese Sports which pay attention to both internal and external exercises with fighting movements as its main contents and with routine exercises and free combat as its forms. |

What” s the difference between SANSHOU and TAOLOU?
SANSHOU : Free combat - combination of Kick, Punches, Hold, Push & Throwing techniques under certain conditions and fixed rules.
TAOLOU : Routine exercises - WUSHU routines, practiced either bare handed or with weapons, involving various combination of attack and defence, advance and retreat, dynamic and static state, quickness and slowness, toughness and softness, solidity and emptiness etc. |

Yes we can get coaches of wushu around the country. We have to contact our state branch for the same. |

What are the benefits for the wushu players ?
Wushu players under the Wushu Association Of India and its affiliated unit can get lot of benefits ie
Regular training under the expert coaches, Cash Award, Stipend from the State/ Central Govt

Is wushu a part of the National Games?
Yes wushu is a regular game in National Games its included in 34th National Games Jharkhand. 35th National Games – Kerala, 36th National Games – Goa and 37th National Games – Chhattisgarh. The players under Wushu Association of India can only take part in the National Games. |

Is wushu apart of the Asian Games?
Yes wushu is a part of the Asian Games also and Indian wushu team is under training from last one year for the same. The training is supported by the Sports Authority of India under the strict support ,guidance and financial assistance of the Govt. of India . |

Yes definately a wushu player under WAI can get stipend and handsome cash award from the stat and central Govt. if he wins medal for his State or Country. |
